RRB NTPC Exam 2025: Exam Dates, Application Form, Application Process, Important Details
Railway Recruitment Board will soon announce the dates for NTPC Examination 2025. The vacancies are for filling up 8,113 graduate degree and 3,445 undergraduate degree posts in railway departments. It is expected that this examination will take place in the month of March and April in 2025. However, the dates will be confirmed officially.
RRB NTPC 2025 Registration and Correction Period
The registration period for the RRB NTPC Exam 2025 opened on September 13, 2024, and closed on October 27, 2024. Candidates were given an opportunity to make corrections to their application forms between October 23 and November 6, 2024. It is important for candidates to ensure their application details were accurate during this correction window.
RRB NTPC Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The selection procedure for the RRB NTPC is a multi-phase procedure. These phases include the following:
· CBT 1- It is the initial screening test for all applicants.
· CBT 2: Only candidates cleared in CBT 1 get to attempt the CBT 2.
· Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test: This phase only applies to applicants for particular posts.
· Verification of Documents/Medical Test: Final check on eligibility and health requirements.
Merit-based selection with every stage of the exam qualifying or disqualifying candidates to proceed to the next level.
RRB NTPC Language Options and Negative Marking
The RRB NTPC Exam 2025 will be available in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Candidates should note that there is a provision of negative marking. For every wrong answer, there will be a deduction of 1/3 mark in both CBT 1 and CBT 2.
