The Railway Recruitment Board will soon announce the dates for the NTPC Examination 2025. The notification is for the recruitment of 8,113 graduate degree and 3,445 undergraduate degree posts in railway departments. It is assumed that this examination would be conducted in March and April of 2025. But the dates will be announced officially.
RRB NTPC 2025 Registration and Correction Window
The RRB NTPC Exam 2025 registration process began on September 13, 2024, and concluded on October 27, 2024. The applicants were given a time window to correct their application forms from October 23 to November 6, 2024. The candidates must ensure that their application details were accurate during the correction window.
RRB NTPC Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The RRB NTPC recruitment process is a multi-step process. Those steps are the following:
- CBT 1- It is the initial screening test for all the candidates.
- CBT 2: Only candidates who get cleared in CBT 1 alone are able to attempt the CBT 2.
- Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test: Reserved for candidates applying for certain positions.
- Verification of Documents/Medical Test: Final evaluation of eligibility and medical needs.
Merit-based selection with every level of the exam qualifying or disqualifying candidates to proceed to the next level.
RRB NTPC Language Options and Negative Marking
RRB NTPC Exam 2025 will be held in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Candidates should remember that a negative marking facility is available. For every wrong answer, 1/3 mark will be deducted in CBT 1 and CBT 2.
